Paid Search and Organic Search - Google SEO Share

In here, I'm going to talk about the Paid Search and Organic Search. What is Paid and Organic Search? What are their difference? What is the advantage of a Paid to Organic searches? or Organic to Paid searches? And which is more useful between these two searches?

Base from what I read and heard, Paid Searches are searches that found at the top, left, right and/or bottom area of the search engines' result pages while Organic Searches are searches that can be seen in the normal listing area.

Paid and Organic Searches

In the picture above, you can see that Paid Search is displayed at the top area of the search result page while the other searches are just below of the Paid Search. That's the advantage of the Paid Searches. This type of search is performed by the big companies that would like to put their website in the search engines. If you own a company that earns lot of money and you don't know how to do SEO, then this is a right search for you.

Organic Searches are displayed at the bottom part of the paid search as you can see in the picture above. In this type of search, you don't have to pay money just to put your website in the search engines. That's the Advantage in this type of search. But you just need to pay time in doing SEO for your website to be put in the search result page.

If the explanation above was not that clear or still confusing then, I'll make it in a simple explanation:

Organic Search - Searches that don't requires money just to put the promoter's site in the search results page. But promoters need to spend a lot of time doing SEO in order to get their site at the top of search results page.

Paid Search - Searches that promoters pays just to put their sites on the search when the keyword of their site was typed in the search box of the search engines. This means with the word itself "paid", promoters need to spend a lot of money to the advertising company(like Google) in order to put their site at the top of the search result page.

This both searches have disadvantages and advantages and it's up to you to choose what type of search you'll pick in order to put your site in the search results of search engines. But just make sure that you'll take the risk of what will be the outcome of your SEO.

That's all for now. I hope you understand the difference between Paid Searches and Organic Searches.
Happy SEO everyone!
